About Kids and Thumbs!

My name is Toni. I created 'Kids and Thumbs' for many reasons. I am a nurse and just love working with children. I have 4 children - 2 from a previous marriage (they did not suck their thumbs) and 2 children (who are avid thumb-suckers) with my current husband. My ex-husband did not suck his thumb. I did not suck my thumb. However, my husband was a thumb-sucker as well as his father. I then became curious about whether thumb-sucking was genetic.

Thus this site was born!
